Tempco Temperature Sensors & Process Heating Controls
Tempco offers a team of engineers and support personnel to help design and create your customer temperature sensor. Tempcos process heating controls technologies range form RTD's, thermocouples and thermistors.
RTD’s
Resistance Temperature Detectors are devices that have a wire coil or deposited film of pure metal. The resistance increases with temperature in a consistent manner. This gives the device great reliability and stability. RTD’s also are lower in cost because they use ordinary copper extension leads, and require no cold junction compensation.
Thermocouples
Thermocouples offer very high temperature capability that goes up to 3100F. The durability, and small size, and fast response make the thermocouple device a great sensor.
