Custom Motion Control Software
Through third party partnerships, PICS offers custom software solutions. The solutions are either Visual Basic interfaces or custom programs using vendor supplied software for the controls and drives that we sell. Since Red Lion’s HMI’s and Data-loggers interface with approximately 100 different manufacturer’s product, we can offer solutions for numerous applications.
Successful projects have been accomplished with Panasonic, Unitronics, Galil, Red Lion, Advantech, Applied Motion Products and Control Techniques.
Specific examples are:
- Sequential motion control with Panasonic PLC/Applied Motion Products stepper system using Excel to store speed and move data.
- Visual Basic interface between Unitronics data logging and spreadsheet.
- Visual Basic interface between Red Lion data logging and spreadsheet.
- Custom operator interface developed in Visual Basic for Galil motion controller.
